This one starts and ends with music, both literally in the script and in the writing of the bit of play you're about to read. I have always been fascinated by how stories become myth over time. In saying this. I mean no disrespect to those who believe in the received tradition of the Crucifixion and all that goes with it. But I'm a writer, and there's a story in here that isn't the one we are told at Eastertide. I hope this one provokes some thought, comment, and maybe even controversy.  Enjoy.
