Lovers of Beowulf, Professor Mike Drout has a quest for you if you’re willing to accept it. Many of you may be following his lecture series, Exploring Beowulf, and relishing his line-by-line explanation of the poem and his topical lessons. Professor Drout is now planning to create a printed companion and guide to his lecture series with transcripts of portions of the audio, further explanations, and additional items of Beowulf interest.

Here’s where you come in. When you join the Exploring Beowulf project room, you’ll have a chance to help Professor Drout polish the transcripts of his lectures, ask questions, offer suggestions for further explanation and development, and provide other critical feedback. Each month, you’ll have access to a new transcript (or more), so the quest will be ongoing. Do you accept the challenge?
